A new draft of the ISDA fund-linked derivatives definitions book was issued last week and the aim is to finalize the project by year-end. At the most recent meeting of the Fund-Linked Derivatives Definitions Working Group, participants in London and New York discussed the draft 2005 Fund-Linked Derivatives Definitions and issues related to extraordinary fund events, according to minutes from the Sept. 27 meeting. Topics for the next meeting will include proposed mechanisms for handling options linked to fund interests, and other issues remaining from the draft.
