Cheyne Capital Management in London has hired Patrick Vickers, a single-name credit trader at Goldman Sachs in New York, as a portfolio manager. Reached at Cheyne, Vickers said he is helping to manage long-only funds for synthetic CDOs, reporting to portfolio managers David Peacock and John Weiss.
Vickers spent three years with Goldman in New York and prior to that worked for the U.S. firm in London in a structured credit sales role.
