Seen "N" Heard

*Vintage Filings caused a stir Monday afternoon when Jeremy Piven stopped by its booth. The star of HBO's Entourage posed for photographs and signed autographs for eager attendees who dropped a business card in Vintage Filings' box. The ratio of men to women in a 20 foot radius was lopsided in favor of the ladies--perhaps the only time during the whole conference.

* Tobey "Spiderman" Maguire was seen leaving the Tao nightclub at the Venetian on Monday night. Citigroup was hosting an event there that night and it remained unclear whether Spidey was jonesing for some securitization fun or Asian-inspired nightlife.

* ASFers had a delicate choice to make on Monday night when deciding whether to stick around the Venetian to yuck it up with Jay Leno at the industry dinner or venture out for more Vegas-style entertainment. The most popular choice for entertaining clients appeared to be, surprisingly, Celine Dion's spectacular, "A New Day". The guilty pleasure received rave reviews. "I've been converted into a Celine fan. I mean, I think I could say I literally hated her before last night," gushed one self-admitted rock fan.
