Istanbul seeks Eu150m for bridge

The Municipality of Istanbul launched a Eu151m syndicated loan early this week to back the construction of the city’s Halic bridge.

WestLB is the bookrunner on the deal, which is split between a Eu100m six year commercial bank tranche and a Eu51m 10 year piece covered by Hermes, the export credit agency. Lenders have been asked to commit Eu30m, Eu20m or Eu10m on a pro rata basis, according to ...
