Warsaw Trams gets rolling with Z200m EBRD deal

The European Bank for Reconstruction & Development has signed a Z200m (Eu50m) ‘A/B’ loan for Tramwaje Warszawskie (Warsaw Trams) as part a project to modernise the city’s public transport.

The EBRD is providing Z100m of 15 year debt under the ‘A’ tranche. Caja Madrid, ING and UniCredit committed to the Z100m ‘B’ piece, which also has a 15 year tenor.
