Bartec LBO launches to funds

The five bookrunners on the €348m senior loan financing backing Charterhouse’s buyout of German safety technology company Bartec launched syndication of the loans on Thursday.

Syndication will target institutional investors and there will be a bank meeting in London on August 8.

BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, GE Capital, Lloyds and UniCredit are arranging the loans, which comprise a term loan ‘A’ of €81m, a €187m term loan ‘B’, a €50m amortising acquisition and capex facility ...
