Credit Suisse has revived a practice it adopted during the financial crisis in 2008 of awarding senior employees part of their bonuses in derivatives-backed bonds, a practice that helped the Swiss firm to unload risky assets.

Credit Suisse has revived a practice it adopted during the financial crisis in 2008 of awarding senior employees part of their bonuses in derivatives-backed bonds, a practice that helped the Swiss firm to unload risky assets. Employees’ compensation will also include cash and restricted stock.
