France Forms State-Owned I-Bank

France has announced the creation of a state-owned investment bank, to be known as BPI and to be equally owned by the government and CDC, a state-owned financial institution.

France has announced the creation of a state-owned investment bank, to be known as BPI and to be equally owned by the government and CDC, a state-owned financial institution. Jean-Pierre Jouyet, head of CDC, has been appointed chairman of BPI.
