Anima takes senior funding in seven year sweet spot

Italian asset manager Anima Holding sold €300m of senior debt against a quiet backdrop this week, having decided to target the popular seven year tenor.

The borrower (—/—/BBB-) picked Banca Akros, BNP Paribas, Mediobanca, MPS Capital Services and UniCredit as lead managers on Monday before opening books on Thursday.

It began with pricing in the 210bp area over mid-swaps for its deal, which was capped at a size of €300m from the outset.
