Shinhan Card returns with Covid-relief bond

Shinhan Card Co ended a long hiatus from the dollar bond market on Tuesday as it joined a number of other South Korean borrowers which have turned to the debt market to raise Covid-19 relief funds.

Shinhan Card is not new to the offshore market, but it has not sold a dollar bond for at least a decade, according to a mix of data sources and banker comments. The South Korean borrower is more active in the domestic market, where its business is focused. ...
