Cebu Air seeks $500m to tackle Covid impact

Philippine carrier Cebu Air is looking to tap the equity markets for $500m, in an attempt to position itself for a recovery from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The airline industry has been one of the sectors hit hardest hit by the pandemic, as travel and tourism came to a grinding halt this year to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
