US bank supply hits autumn slowdown

US banks could be set for an extended hibernation from the dollar market after entering third quarter earnings blackout.

There was no FIG supply on October 1 and the overall calendar is expected to be light over the next week.   

Big US banks will remain on the sidelines until JP Morgan kicks off earnings season on October 13.
