Scor scores negative NIP in rare T2 appearance

French reinsurer Scor launched a tier two at a negative new issue premium on Thursday, finding plenty of demand after a prolonged absence from the market.

It was Scor’s first appearance in euros since May 2016, when it priced a €500m 32 year non-call 12 tier two at 3.625%.

The French reinsurer commissioned BNP Paribas, Citi, Crédit Agricole and Natixis this week to run the books on its new deal.
