Bohai Bank launches chunky Hong Kong IPO

China Bohai Bank has jumped into Hong Kong’s bustling IPO market, opening books for a HK$14.3bn ($1.85bn) listing.

The Standard Chartered-backed bank kicked off bookbuilding on Tuesday, with investors spoilt for choice with 10 live IPOs on Hong Kong’ stock exchange.

The majority of the issuers are vying for attention for a few hundred million dollars. But Bohai is aiming much higher.
