China policy round-up: China keeps count on symptom-free infections, Mofcom restricts export of uncertified medical supplies

In this round-up, the Mainland is keeping a close eye on people who did not show any symptoms but still tested positive to Covid-19 and the country said medical supplies that do not meet domestic standards will not be exported.
China started releasing statistics on symptom-free cases of Covid-19 infections on Wednesday, April 1. According to the latest update from the National Health Commission on Thursday, there were 1,075 such cases currently under medical observation, 55 of which were newly reported on Wednesday.
