NTPC, Reliance to make loan returns

India’s National Thermal Power Corp has mandated three lenders for a $300m-equivalent Samurai loan, after sending out a request for proposals last year.

Bank of India, State Bank of India and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp are the mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners, according to a banker close to the situation. He added that the timeline for general syndication has not been decided yet.
