US funds enthusiastic about European ECM, including new players

European equity capital markets bankers are seeing a pick-up in appetite from US-domiciled funds looking across the Atlantic for outperformance.

The average fund's weighting to Europe ex-UK stocks was 20.9%, according to Copley Fund Research, which surveys the positions of global equity funds. That is 6.49 percentage points higher than European stocks’ weighting in the MSCI All Countries World Index.
