World Bank plants green seeds in Danish kroner

Investors have had to wait 22 years for the World Bank to issue in Danish kroner, but the supranational returned at the end of last week with a long-dated green bond.

Sole lead SEB ran the Dkr3bn ($442.1m) deal on November 22. The bond has a 0.2% coupon but the issue price was not disclosed.

The 20 year bond matures on November 15, 2039, the same day as a Denmark 4.5% bond.
