Trainline on track for £1.5bn valuation as funds get onboard

It took just over two hours on Wednesday morning for the IPO of Trainline, the UK transport booking website, to get covered after the company opened the books on its £630m IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

JP MorganMorgan Stanleyand KKR Capital Markets are global co-ordinators; Barclaysand Numis Securities are bookrunners.

The price range has been set at 318p to 360p a share, valuing Trainline at £1.5bn to £1.7bn. Sources close to the deal said that during investor education Trainline had a valuation target
