VW restarts stalled Traton flotation

Volkswagen has rebooted the IPO of Traton, its trucks division, after the deal was delayed in March due to volatility in equity markets caused by the ongoing trade tensions between the US and China.

In a statement late on Monday evening, Volkswagen said it would list Traton shares on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stockholm before the summer break, adding that the IPO would be subject to market conditions. No new capital will be raised.
