Paris preps curve extension

City of Paris mandated banks on Monday for a new 20 year bond that will extend its curve to 2039.

Citi, Deutsche Bank and Nomura have been appointed to lead the €250m no-grow June 2039 bond.

The new bond will become the longest point on Paris’ curve, overtaking a 2038 private placement that was issued last September through Natixis, according to Dealogic.
