EPIF gets huge demand for €1.5bn loan amid deal drought

Czech firm EP Infrastructure has signed a €1.5bn syndicated loan that was subject to heavy scale-backs, after lenders offered the energy infrastructure company double the amount it was looking for.

The loan has three tranches with four and five year maturities, according to a source close to the deal. 

Lenders offered €3bn. “It had to be heavily scaled back,” said the source.
