Investec loan swells on big demand

South Africa’s Investec Bank has doubled the size from launch of its two year syndicated term loan to $600m, after a 'significant' oversubscription.

The bank launched the facility at $300m but closed at double that amount, repeating the same feat that the borrower achieved in 2017.

Investec is paying 120bp over Libor for the deal, inside the 155bp margin of the 2017 outing.
