Agrokor attracts over 20 lenders to new loan

Agrokor, the troubled Croatian food company, has announced that over 20 lenders have agreed to provide €320m of new funds by the end of this week.

Since it went into administration on April 10, Agrokor has borrowed €80m from Erste Bank, Privredna Banka Zagreb, Raiffeisenbank Austria, VTB and Zagrebačka Banka to keep it afloat. 

VTB confirmed to GlobalCapital that it will participate in this new loan, “alongside a number of other banks and companies”.
