Euratom returns to debt market, and more to come

The European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) has ended a six year absence from capital markets with a 10 year medium term note, which is to be the first of six.

Euratom sold a €50m 10 year MTN on Wednesday. The note carried a coupon of 0.75%. BBVA priced the trade at par.

Julian Romero, BBVA’s head of bond syndication for Europe, told GlobalCapital the borrower intends to sell another five transactions over the next two to three years. ...
