Martin Duffell, head of dealing at the UK’s Debt Management Office, is retiring, GlobalCapital can reveal.
He has worked at the DMO for 25 years, according to his LinkedIn profile, and is central to the management of Gilt syndications.
Duffell is highly regarded by colleagues in the sovereign bond market. He has frequently featured in GlobalCapital's Bond Awards and this year jointly won Most Impressive Sovereign Funding Official with Agence France Trésor's Cyril Rousseau.
