Finland closes first fixed rate sterling deal in 16 years

Finland printed its first fixed rate sterling bond of the millennium on Tuesday, moving away from its traditional floating rate business with a £250m December 2017 deal. But the choice of tenor may not have been the issuer’s first pick and was probably dictated by swap levels, said bankers.
