Moody's Investors Service has added Ben Garber as statistical economist and Elizabeth Casinelli as economist. They join a group led by John Lonski, team managing director. The hires replace Kamalesh Rao and Jessica Walker, who quit the firm earlier this year. Calls to Moody's were referred to John Cline, spokesman, who said Garber was most recently a financial analyst at Pensions & Forecasting in New York and Casinelli was an internal move from Moody's public finance group. Rao headed to MasterCard Advisors to study consumer spending while Walker joined Barclays Capital.
