Mike Cherry, a former managing director in high-yield sales at J.P. Morgan, has joined CRT Capital Group, a high-yield and convertible bond broker based in Stamford, Conn., as senior v.p. in high-yield sales. He left Morgan in December and now reports to Taylor Watts, head of high-yield sales at CRT. Watts declined comment. Cherry said his position is part of the group's expansion and the broker is looking to make additional hires but declined to be more specific about potential additions.
