Deutsche Bank Lures BofA Trader To Big Apple

Deutsche Bank has hired Dylan Brooks, associate and credit default-swaps flow trader at Banc of America Securities in Charlotte, N.C., as a credit derivatives trader in New York. At Deutsche Bank, Brooks will report to Boaz Weinstein, managing director and head of North American credit derivatives trading in New York. Weinstein referred calls to Ted Meyer, spokesman, who confirmed the hire.

Brooks, who starts this week, was between positions and could not be reached. The hire is the second in recent months for Deutsche Bank's credit derivatives trading team, which landed Chip Stevens from Merrill Lynch earlier this summer (DW, 7/28).

At BofA, Brooks reported to Dan Caldwell, head of credit derivatives trading in Charlotte, who declined comment.
