Bank of America has hired Vincent DeLorenzo, head of North American short-term interest-rate trading at Citigroup Global Markets in New York, as global head of short-term interest-rate management. DeLorenzo is filling a newly created seat, with the business having previously reported along regional lines, said Mark Mullet, head of foreign exchange options.
“The new global foreign exchange leadership at BofA promises to build significantly upon its success in FX,” said DeLorenzo, adding that he is “very excited about the opportunity here.” BofA recently named Christiane Mandell, former head of institutional sales, as head of the foreign exchange group.
Danielle Romero-Apsilos, spokeswoman at Citigroup in New York, did not return calls enquiring into DeLorenzo’s replacement.
