Wachovia Securities has added another two staffers to its expanding U.S. equity derivatives presence. Kent Kalvaitis, an equity derivatives structurer at Morgan Stanley, and Mary Moglia, a convertibles sales staffer at JPMorgan, have both joined in similar roles, according to Todd Steinberg, managing director and head of equity-linked products in New York. Kalvaitis and Moglia declined comment.
Wachovia is also on the prowl for further convertibles sales staffers and convertible bond traders and expects to add another two more sales professionals and traders in either the firm's Greenwich, Conn., or New York offices, added Steinberg.
Brian Marchiony, spokesman at JPMorgan in New York, and Melissa Stonberg, spokeswoman at Morgan Stanley in New York, both declined comment.
