Sam Gottesman, regional head of derivatives sales at Commerzbank Securities in New York, has resigned. Gottesman said the departure is amicable and has been motivated by a desire to take some time off and consider future opportunities. He expects to start a new job after the summer, adding, he is considering both derivatives-based and other opportunities. Gottesman joined Commerzbank in 2001 and previously worked at several firms including Bear Stearns and Goldman Sachs.
