ABN AMRO has hired Daniel McNeill, equity derivatives structurer at Citigroup in London, in a similar role. McNeill reports to Mike Hodgson, head of structuring in global equity derivatives, who was head of new products at Citigroup before joining ABN in May.
McNeill is the latest in a flurry of equity derivatives hires by the Dutch bank, including Amilcare Police (DW, 9/3), who heads institutional marketing and Jaspreet Khaira (DW, 11/12), who covers U.K. marketing. Adrian Rimmer, spokesman for the bank in London, said the hires are part of a plan to boost its equity derivatives business, but declined to comment on the details of this plan.
