New York-based Tricadia Capital, a subsidiary of Mariner Investment Group, has hired Terri Magnani from Merrill Lynch Investment Management to work on the asset-backed securities side of its collateralized debt obligation group. Arif Inayat, a co-founder and partner of Tricadia in New York, said the hire is part of the firm's initiative to build its ABS CDO management effort.
Tricadia will bring on board another two or three staffers in the coming weeks to bulk up its relative value credit trading and arbitrage business.
