Deutsche Bank has hired Rupert Oswell, director and senior salesman at WestLB, to market credit derivatives to U.K. banks. Oswell, who could not be reached, will report to Raj Dhown, managing director and head of institutional client group sales for Northern Europe. Dhown declined comment, but an official at the German house confirmed the hire.
At WestLB, Oswell reported to Anthony Brown, managing director in fixed income. Brown confirmed the move and declined comment on any replacement for Oswell.
