Farzin Pourmokhtar, head of product management at The Royal Bank of Scotland in London, has quit the firm after nine months. As first reported on DW's Web site, he joined RBS from Bank of America (DW, 7/1) where he worked under Alex Bernand, who recently jumped to Deutsche Bank. Credit officials have tipped him to follow Bernand to the German firm. Pourmokhtar's role encompassed structured credit and equity products and he reported to Vincent Dahinden, head of structured products and the equity products group, who did not return calls by press time.
Neither Pourmokhtar nor Bernand could immediately be reached. Stephanie Smart, spokeswoman for Deutsche Bank, did not comment by press time.
