Förderbanks well set at home and abroad to weather crisis
Amid the sovereign debt crisis, Germany’s Förderbanks appear well set to take on the worst the markets can throw at them. Their reputation as ultra-high quality and rare issuers in the international debt markets will continue to serve them well. But crucially, their strong support among local investors will allow them to tap domestic markets at impressively tight levels. Philip Moore reports.
