Support For E.U. Transaction Tax Grows
Slovenia became the sixth European Union member state to throw its support to a transaction tax, with Estonia and Hungary likely to join in backing for the measure in the near future. At this point, even with E.U. approval, it is not likely the tax would go into effect before the second half of 2013.
