Deutsche Bank's Japan Equity Head Resigns

Masatoshi Inoue, managing director and head of equity derivatives at Deutsche Securities Ltd,Tokyo in Japan, has resigned to pursue his own interests, according to a spokesman. The spokesman at Deutsche Securities, part of the Deutsche Bank Group, declined comment on a potential successor.

"Inoue is a great motivator of people and a vigorous and dynamic innovator in Japanese equity derivatives. He will surely be missed," enthused Alex Mayus, head of equity derivatives trading, Bank of America Securities Japan, Inc.

Traders in Japan believe that Inoue has retired from the industry and is moving to the U.S. to start his own business.
