Commonwealth Bank of Australia has recently transferred Mike Halloran, global head of credit trading in Sydney, to the London desk to bulk up CBA's capabilities in the City.
Halloran, who moved last month, declined to comment. "London is the center of all things credit trading [related], it makes sense to have the global head there," said Fergus Gilbert, head of credit trading at CBA in Sydney. Gilbert has assumed local responsibility for the Sydney desk. "This will strengthen our capabilities in London time," he added.
