Merrill Lynch has hired Steve Kuppenheimer, v.p. in structured credit products at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, as a director and senior structurer. Kuppenheimer, who declined comment, reports to Chris Ricciardi, managing director in New York. Ricciardi did not return calls. It could not be determined whether Kuppenheimer is filling a newly created seat.
At CSFB Kuppenheimer reported to Thomas Pascale, managing director in New York, who did not return calls by press time.
