Sal Amery, managing director and Asian head of global structured products at Bank of America in Tokyo, is moving to Hong Kong as part of the firm's attempt to concentrate senior staff in the city. In addition, Han Shin Lee, structurer in Seoul, and new recruit Anthony Cheng, former structurer at DBS in Singapore, both joined the Hong Kong desk in recent months.

The transfers stem from the bank setting up a senior debt management team to spearhead development in Asia and the promotion of Edward Png, country treasurer for Taiwan, to head of debt markets for Japan and Greater China in Hong Kong.
