BNP Paribas German Equity Sales Trio Quits

Three equity derivative sales staffers covering Germany at BNP Paribas in London have left the firm.

Three equity derivative sales staffers covering Germany at BNP Paribas in London have left the firm. Patrick Sommer, a senior salesman at the French house, is set to join Bank Of America in a new role as head of investor marketing, according to BofA insiders, but the destinations of the other two sales staffers Dirk Grunert, and Martin Lehmann could not be determined by press time. All three were on gardening leave and could not be reached. Ruth Lavelle, spokeswoman for BNP Paribas in London, confirmed the departures, declining comment on replacements for the team. Liz Wood, spokeswoman for BofA in London, declined comment.
