ANZ is considering structuring tranched iTraxx Australia credit products because of the growing liquidity in the credit index. "We're looking at structuring this going forward," said an official at the firm. Increased investor familiarity with the index down under along with the need for enhanced yield make such tranched products attractive, noted the official, declining further comment.
Series 4 of the 25-name antipodean index kicked off late last month, with General Property Trust and Wesfarmers replacing Commonwealth Bank of Australia and WMC Resources (DW, 9/16).
