ABN AMRO is launching a EUR10 billion synthetic balance sheet collateralized loan obligation that securitizes loans originated from ABN's balance sheet and made to 80% investment-grade European corporates.
The deal--Amstel Corporate Loan Offering 2007-1--features a portfolio comprised of loans made to more than 680 obligors located in 42 countries. The structure boasts EUR6.2 billion of credit-linked notes beneath a EUR3.8 billion super senior swap.
Officials at ABN could not be reached for comment.
