Russian Railways secures hefty BarCap loan
Russian Railways, the state-owned railway operator, has secured a $500m unsecured loan from Barclays Capital, after failing to get any traction in the syndicated loan market from a recent request for a larger deal. Rival loans bankers welcomed the news as evidence that banks were willing to lend to Russian borrowers.
