MidEast sovereigns impress, open way for Qtel launch

The Middle East loan market focused on bond issues from Abu Dhabi and Qatar today (Thursday), in the hope that the success of these transactions could be another confidence booster for the region. Interest in Qatar’s bond has been particularly high, as loans bankers speculated that Qtel’s delayed forward start facility would finally come to market after the sovereign issue.
