FSF for Qtel after $1.5bn debut bond launch

Qatar Telecom is set to turn its attention to the syndicated loan market again after it completed its $1.5bn debut bond issue on Tuesday. Bankers close to Qtel, rated A1/A-/A+, said the company still intended to launch its $1.5bn forward start facility, possibly next week, dismissing concerns that the retail phase of syndication had been cancelled.
