Calyon goes solo with $1bn Sonangol underwrite
Angola’s Sonangol is set to launch general syndication of a $1bn loan shortly, after becoming the first African borrower of the year to secure a big underwritten facility. The state-owned oil and gas group, whose deal was underwritten by Calyon, has just completed the senior phase of syndication.
